Disney dayz

Like they say - everyone still has a kid inside them, so let your inner child out to play with your own tribe in these world-class fantasy resorts

There's still nobody that does it as well as Disney, which means that they have to try extra hard to stay on top

Not much time? No need to miss out - try a short but satisfying break at the two Paris parks, giving Disney that je ne sais quoi gallic spin.

Now boasting a second attraction - the new Disney Studios Europe -  as well as the beautiful, traditional Disneyland Paris is, more than ever, well worth a long weekend or midweek holiday. Whether you choose to travel by plane, train or ferry and car, once you pass the Disney portals the magic takes hold every bit as strongly as in their original North American home.
The Paris venue means that if you choose to spend more than a few days living it up, there's still plenty to do, from exploring the ever-stylish and romantic charms of Parisian boulevards and Left Bank galleries to visiting chateaus and parkland that blend fountains and floral splendours with ultra-modern techno parks and light shows. If you still haven't had enough of thrill rides, then there's a francophile's must - Parc Asterix - just north of the Disney resort, which combines a quick romp through French history with Asterix, Obelix and the rest of the crew.

Want to have the whole enchilada? Then the full out American dream theme parks in Florida are for you.

At Walt Disney World in Orlando, you have not one, but four Disney theme parks. There's the splendid, sprawling Magic Kingdom - a classic version of the original Disneyland - with all it's traditional characters and rides plus state of the art animatronics fun. Then there's Epcot with space age adventure in Futureworld and a global village in a nutshell in World Showcase. At the truly excellent Disney-MGM Studios you can mingle with wannabe starlets and famous screen luminaries like Cruella DeVil in a reconstructed New York or LA street, ride TV or movie-themed attractions and visit working animation and TV show studios. Last, but not least, there's the new Animal Kingdom where safari or water thrills combine with traditional zoo exhibits and a 'nearly as good as the real thing' ride on the wild side aboard the  'Kilimanjaro Safari Bus'- get those cameras ready!

If you like high octane, multi-choice family holidays you can't fail in Florida. In Orlando you have Sea World and Universal & Co on your doorstep, the Space Center and Atlantic coast to the East, the Everglades, Miami and the Keys to the South & the Gulf Coast with it's own theme parks & chill out beach clubs out West.

Going back to Disney's original roots back in California, both in cinema & theme park terms is - just fantastic! Disneyland - a 'magical little park' fulfills every child's expectation with a cast of well-loved characters packaged with high velocity gusto and fun, fun, fun all the way.

Same goes for the all-new California Adventure - thrilling roller-coaster journeys that sum up the irrepressible spirit of the Golden State, from ocean to desert, movie capital to mountains.
And the fun doesn't stop when you leave the parks, with inimitable laid-back LA cafes, beaches, more theme parks and movie star trails.

Fantasy tanks running on empty? Then take the non-stop Disney experience & let the magic back into your life. Try the official Disney resort hotels & imagine yourself straight into a Dixieland plantation, a New York Art Deco Apartment Building or a 'High Plains Drifter' township!
Common to both Orlando and Paris the Grand Floridian and Disneyland Hotels, despite the different names are the showpiece jewels in the Disney Hotel portfolio. Sugary? Oh yes, but sweet on the eye and your kids will love meeting Mary Poppins, Pooh and of course Mickey in surroundings that are the cream of the Disney lifestyle ethos.
Still in Paris, the French fascination with American architectural and cultural lifestyles shines through from the upfront boldness of the Hotel New York; the old pioneer woodland spirit or New England charm of the Sequoia Lodge or Newport Bay Club and the Cowboy Trail or Spaghetti Western excitement of the Hotels Cheyenne or Santa Fe.
Out in Orlando, the choice of hotel venue is simply - mind boggling! With something for every wallet and every taste you can choose from pop culture, budget hotels like the All-Star Music, Sport or Movies to classy tropical relaxation in the Polynesian, Caribbean Beach or Coronado Spring Resorts. Or how about the old-fashioned Southern charms of the Port Orleans - French Quarter or Riverside? And for those who like something different there's the outdoors adventure lifestyle of the Animal Kingdom or Wilderness Lodges or the Beach or Yacht Club Resorts.
